Explore has spent 45 years helping Canadians find the next adventure — usually the kind that starts before sunrise and involves a bag you have to carry yourself. To celebrate the magazine's 45th anniversary, Explore and Northern Sun built three limited-edition layers together. This is the one that goes in the bag.
It's the Packable Down you know, in Mushroom: a soft, warm neutral created for this collection and available nowhere else in the Northern Sun line, finished with the Explore 45 anniversary mark. The rest is unchanged. 700 fill power down for real warmth without the bulk, light enough to clip to your strap when the afternoon turns mild, and it still folds into a travel pillow when the drive or the flight runs long.
When life gets complicated, this jacket keeps it simple. This one just happens to be a collector's piece.
