Meet the Chinook Sherpa — Explore 45 Edition
Forty-five years of Explore comes down to a pretty simple idea: get outside, and stay out a little longer. This fleece is the collection's answer to the second half of that.
The Chinook Sherpa comes here in Cedar Skies, created for the Explore collaboration and available in no other Northern Sun colourway, finished with an embroidered Explore 45 patch — stitched, not printed, on a limited run. The fleece itself hasn't changed: 300GSM sherpa on the outside, anti-pill microfleece on the inside, warm enough for a cold campfire morning and breathable enough for the walk back to the truck.
Wear it on its own through shoulder season, or layer it under the Explore edition Chinook Shell in Cedar Brown when the wind and rain roll back through. Same layering system, limited-edition colours.

A note on final sale: The Explore 45 collection is a one-time run in colours we won't produce again, so every order is final — no returns, exchanges, or size swaps. We'd rather help you get it right than have you stuck with the wrong size. Manufacturing defects are still covered by our lifetime warranty.

Warmth with Breathability: Made from 100% polyester sherpa fleece (300GSM), the outer fabric has a lofty pile that offers excellent insulation while staying soft, elastic, and breathable. The inner fabric is an ultra-soft and smooth anti-pill microfleece.
