I always am excited when Explore shows up in my mailbox. I read every single article, make notes for future hikes and trips and am motivated to try new types of outdoor adventure. I love reading about people working and thriving in the outdoors and appreciate that they are inclusive. As a social worker reading about people in the outdoors with disabilties, women in the outodoors or my favorite- adventure cats- is diverse and fun.

I've been subscribing to Explore magazine for may years now (decades!) and I still look forward to reading much of the content. I have always especially enjoyed the articles about the more extreme explorations. They have inspired me to explore myself, pushing my limits even if they are not on par with the article exploits. In more recent years I have been less than enthusiastic about seeing a slight shift in emphasis towards more commercial and "tamer" family or urban content. But I understand the challenging media environment that applies pressure to appeal to a wider audience and garner the financial support of companies and corporations.

However, final word; I'll remain an "Explore" supporter and continue to enjoy both the magazine and the online newsletters.

I so look forward to receiving Explore Magazine every season and then sharing it with my friends and family. The variety of Canadian content is inspiring, engaging and unavailable anywhere else. Keep up the great work!
