Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with us! We aim to provide a smooth and reliable shipping experience. Please review the details below regarding order processing, shipping, and policies related to delivery issues.
Order Processing

All orders are processed and shipped within 2 business days of purchase, excluding weekends and holidays.

Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to make any changes to the shipping address, product selection, or order details. Please review your order carefully before completing checkout.
Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for entering the correct and complete shipping/mailing address at the time of purchase.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the order is delivered to that address, we are not responsible for replacement or refund.

If you wish to have the order sent to the correct address, a new order will need to be placed.
Delivery Confirmation and Missing Packages

If the carrier marks the order as delivered (including cases with photo or scan proof of delivery), but the package goes missing (e.g., due to theft or being misplaced), we are not liable for replacement or refund. Please ensure that your delivery location is secure and consider using package lockers or safe drop-off points when possible.
Lost Orders in Transit

If your order is lost in transit and there is no delivery confirmation or proof of delivery from the carrier, we will issue a replacement shipment once the expected shipping timeline has passed.

Shipping timelines provided at checkout are estimates and may vary depending on carrier delays, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather, or carrier service disruptions.
Refund policy
Product Warranty
At Hawk Nest Hammocks we stand behind all of our products with our two-year limited warranty. If your product arrives damaged, defective, or if you have issues during use please submit a warranty claim to start a refund or replacement so we can make it right.
Unfortunately our warranty does not cover:
- Regular wear-and-tear
- Improper use, including exceeding the maximum weight capacity or using an over sized sleeping pad in the sleeping pad pocket. Damages caused by a sleeping pad over 28" wide and 3" thick will void the warranty.
- Accidental damage resulting from improper use, including falls from the hammock that result in rips or tears to the fabric.
- Cosmetic, non-structural or functional damage
- Modifications
Avoid using duct-tape or other materials that can leave a residue on the tent as doing so may void your warranty.
*Even if you don't plan on using your Hawk Nest within two year of purchase, please make sure to at least test it before the warranty expires. We are not responsible for damaged or defective items after two-years of your purchase.

Return Policy
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, return your item(s) within 30 days after they have been received for a refund. PLEASE NOTE that shipping charges are not eligible for refunds. Please review the policies below before you start your return to ensure you qualify for a refund:
Item Condition
Items must be returned in new or like-new condition to qualify for a refund. Conditions that would not qualify for a refund include (but are not limited to):
- Dirt, grass, or sun stains are clearly visible
- Fabric smells like campfire smoke
- Residue is present from duct-tape or other adhesives
- Items that have been modified in any way from the way it was originally received
- Items that are marked as "Final Sale"

Refund Method (Original Payment Only)
All refunds are issued only to the original payment method used at checkout.
We cannot refund to a different card, bank account, or method (e-transfer, cash, gift card, etc.).
If your original card/account has been cancelled, closed, or replaced, the refund will still be sent to that original card/account. Your bank or card issuer will route the funds to your current account or otherwise credit you according to their policies.
For payments made via Shop Pay, Affirm, PayPal, or other third-party providers, refunds will be processed through that same provider and are subject to their timelines.
Please allow 5–10 business days after we issue the refund for it to appear on your statement.
This policy applies except where prohibited by law and does not affect your statutory rights.
Exchanges
If you are wanting to swap your Hawk Nest for a different color (when available), we are happy to help out. To do so, start a return within 30 days of your order. Unfortunately we do not allow exchanges of old versions to newer versions of the same product. There are two ways to exchange your gear:
- Standard Exchange: After your return has been dropped off and scanned at the post office or drop off location, a new order with your new item will be automatically placed and shipped out within 1 business day.
- Instant Exchange: If you want your new items sooner, you can send us your credit card information and we will place a temporary hold on your account when you submit your exchange. An order with your new items will be placed instantly and shipped within 1 business day. Make sure you return your original items as soon as possible so that that hold is removed from your card and you aren't charged.
Backyard Trial
We are so confident in our products that we offer a "backyard trial". Try our products in the backyard. If you are unsatisfied, send it back for a full refund. Make sure when you purchase your tent to include Unlimited Free Returns so you aren't charged to send it back. It's that easy.
To qualify for the Backyard Demo full refund, make sure there is no:
- Obvious wear
- Exposure to campfire smoke
- Pet hair in the hammock
Other return requests are evaluated case by case. To initiate a return, please submit a Return Request (see below).
Starting a Return
Simply fill out our return request form by clicking HERE
Once we receive your return request, we'll review it and if approved, we will send you a return shipping label that you will need to print and attach to the outside of your package. Then, simply drop it off at the nearest drop-off location. PLEASE NOTE: We will only supply a return shipping label if you have purchased the "Unlimited Free Returns" add-on, otherwise you will be required to cover the return shipping fees.
Once we receive your return, we will perform a quick inspection and then notify you that we have processed your refund. If you opted for a refund, it will be credited back to your original payment method within 3-5 business days of receiving your return.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
